How to Connect a 4K WiFi Dash Cam to the Viidure App
Connect an MCNE 4K WiFi dash cam to the Viidure app, view live video, download recordings and fix common phone WiFi connection problems.
MCNE 4K WiFi dash cams can connect directly to a phone through the Viidure app. This local WiFi connection lets you see the live camera view, play back recordings, download videos and photos, save clips and change supported camera settings.
No account is normally required for basic local dash cam use. The camera creates its own short-range WiFi network, so your phone may show “No Internet” while connected. That warning is expected.

How to connect your MCNE dash cam to Viidure
- Turn on the dash cam. Enable WiFi from the camera menu or by using its WiFi button.
- Open your phone’s WiFi settings. Select the network created by the dash cam. Its name may appear as DVR_XXXX, CarDV_XXXX or another model-specific name.
- Enter the camera WiFi password. Many models use 12345678 as the default. If that password is not accepted, check the camera screen or the product manual.
- Stay connected to the dash cam WiFi. Ignore a “No Internet” warning. This is a direct camera-to-phone connection, not an internet hotspot.
- Open Viidure. Tap Connect, Add Camera or the camera entry shown in the app.
- Confirm the live view. When the picture appears, you can use the available playback, download and camera-setting functions.
What you can do in Viidure
- View the live camera image.
- Play back recorded video.
- Download videos and photos to your phone.
- Take photos or save important clips.
- Change supported camera settings.
Available menus can vary slightly by dash cam model, phone and app version. Viidure is a third-party app, and advanced services may require sign-in or a separate subscription; these are not needed for normal basic local WiFi use.
If Viidure cannot find the dash cam
- Your phone says “No Internet”: stay connected; this is normal for dash cam WiFi.
- The app cannot find the camera: make sure the phone is connected to the dash cam network rather than your home or vehicle WiFi.
- The phone switches back to mobile data: temporarily disable mobile data or automatic WiFi switching.
- A permission message appears: allow Local Network, WiFi or Location access when requested by your phone.
- Connection still fails: close and reopen Viidure, switch the dash cam WiFi off and on, then restart both devices if required.
Keep the phone near the dash cam during setup. Remote viewing is not normally available when you are away from the vehicle because this is a short-range direct WiFi connection.
